FromScratch is an AI app builder: you describe the site or app you want in the chat, an AI agent proposes a plan, builds it step by step in a live preview, and you publish it in one click. It builds real full-stack sites (pages, data, forms) and real online shops. See What is FromScratch?.

No. You talk to the agent in plain language; it asks questions and offers options as buttons. Developers can still open the code view (Starter and Pro) and export the source.

You get one-time welcome credits to create projects, chat with the agent and build in the live preview. Publishing online, custom domains, file attachments, the code view, code export, premium models and the developer API are part of Starter and Pro. See Plans and the free tier.

When a trial offer is shown on the Starter card (« Try Starter free »), you can start it without a card. If you don't add a card before the end date, you simply go back to the Free plan and nothing is charged. See The free trial (no card).

Credits measure the AI work of each reply; a small change costs little, a new page costs more. Each reply shows « Credits used by this reply ». The amount per plan is on the Pricing page. See How credits work.

Each reply has a step and credit limit set by your plan. When it is reached, the agent pauses cleanly and saves everything; reply « continue » to resume. Your balance is not empty — that's a different message.

No. On Starter and Pro your balance is reset to the plan's monthly amount at each renewal. Free welcome credits are given once and not renewed.

Click Publish in your project (Starter or Pro). Your site gets a public HTTPS address. After further changes, click Republish — the live site never changes by itself. See Publish your site.

Yes, on Starter and Pro. Publish first, then open Domain › Custom domain, enter your hostname, click Attach and add the A record shown at your domain provider. The HTTPS certificate is issued automatically. See Use your own domain.

Yes. The E-commerce site template creates a real shop with cart, checkout, orders and a store admin, in four designs. Card payments go through your own Stripe account with Connect Stripe. See Create an online store and Take payments in your store.

Yes. Give the agent your shop's address: it imports titles, descriptions, prices, variants, photos and collections from your own Shopify or WooCommerce store. See Add products or import your catalog.

The app is in English and French (user menu › Language), and the agent replies in your interface language. Your site itself can be in any language you ask for. See Language: English or French.

Yes. Every agent change is saved in Versions; click Go back here on any earlier version. Going back is reversible too. See Versions: undo anything.

On Starter and Pro, Export lets you download the full source code as a ZIP or push it to a GitHub repository.

Yes. Use Share in a project (or on a folder) and invite people by name or email as Editor (chat with the AI, build, publish) or Viewer (view only). Shared projects appear under « Shared with me ».

On the Home page, Import a project (.zip) lets you start from an existing project archive.

Every plan has access to the default model and the models marked as included. Premium models (shown with a lock on the Free plan) are included in Starter and Pro and may count more credits per reply. See AI models and your plan.

No. The preview is private to you and the people you share the project with. Only a published site is public. See Preview vs published site.

Yes, with the developer API on Starter and Pro: generate an API key, send a prompt, poll until the site is published, and get its address and a screenshot. See Generate sites with the API.

On the Billing page, click Manage subscription and cancel in Stripe's portal. Your plan stays active until the end date, then you're on Free. See Cancel your subscription.
