Understand FromScratch

What FromScratch is, what you can build with it and how the workspace is organised.

  1. What is FromScratch?FromScratch turns a plain-language description into a working website or web app, built step by step by an AI agent you chat with.
  2. What you can buildWebsites, web apps and real online shops: the templates you can start from, the four shop designs, and the kinds of projects that work best.
  3. The chat-to-publish flowThe whole journey of a project, from the first sentence you type to a live site with its own address, and what happens at each stage.
  4. A tour of the workspaceWhere everything is: the Home page and its project explorer, the project page with the chat and the preview, and every button of the top bar.
  5. AI models and your planWhich AI model builds your project, how to switch it, why some models are marked Premium or cost more credits, and what happens when a model isn't on your plan.
  6. Light and dark sitesChoose whether your site is light or dark when you create it, change it later, and why the FromScratch interface theme is a separate setting.
